Composite Tail Rotor Blades for Bell 206 JetRangers Fitted with New Bearings | Air Services Int'l., LLC
The AMT-206-1 composite tail rotor blade is a direct replacement for Bell 206A and 206B series helicopter tail rotor blades. Now fitted with a new style of feathering bearings manufactured by KAMATICS. These bearings provide a longer life expectancy, with a patented lining that provides lighter pedal loads and a higher level of chemical resistance, compared to that of the standard fabric Teflon-lined bearings.
The AMT-206-1 tail rotor blade has a non-symmetrical airfoil section and incorporates a swept tip. The T/R Blade is primarily fabricated from uni-directional Graphite (carbon fiber) and Aramid (Kevlar™) continuous fibers suspended in an epoxy matrix and is fitted with a nickel abrasion strip on the leading edge. The abrasion strip is bonded on using a urethane adhesive.
The AMT-206-1 composite tail rotor blades have a 30% cost advantage, twice the lifespan, higher strength and thrust, and a substantial noise reduction, making them safer and ideal for helicopter operators flying in noise-sensitive areas like national parks and built-up areas.

UNVG -- Ultralight Night Vision
he AGM UNVG is a dual-channel night vision system. The UNVG uses advanced multi-coated optics and is built to last with a compact composite housing. The device can be outfitted with a Gen 2+ or Gen 3 high-performance image intensifier tube (IIT). The UNVG is also equipped with manual gain control, which adjusts the image brightness, providing the highest possible image quality even in changing light conditions. The independent movement of the tube pods allows for single or dual eye configurations for increased operational flexibility. Each tube automatically turns off when its pod is turned sideways. Operating from a single AA alkaline battery, the UNVG can run up to 15 hours. With an external battery pack (included), the operating time increases to 50 hours! Also equipped with an integral infrared illuminator for reading in the dark. The device can be installing to a either standard dovetail type headset and helmet mount.
